$750K Credit Access, 90-Day Terms, Game-Changing Growth
Challenge
A regional transportation company took the Driving Business Growth scan to determine the publicly available information on their business. This was a concise way to see how their business looked from the internet’s perspective in the areas of:
- pre-qualified funding
- online compliance
- Business credit
- banking behaviors
Having quickly determined they had not started to establish their business credit (their business credit had a very low recommended amount of $1,000), the company needed to take action to build their credibility and financial foundation.
Solution
We went through the steps to register with the four business credit bureaus. We then directed them to open tradelines, choosing ones that reported to the business credit bureaus (only 7% of vendors report expenditures to the business credit bureaus).
Next, using the tradelines (i.e. bank and vendor credit cards, etc.) to purchase their normal business expenses—which were reported to the business credit bureaus—they began building their business credit profile strategically.
Results
Within ten months, they achieved a recommended credit amount of $750,000. This was game changing in their ability to grow. They used their improved business credit to secure 90-day net terms using vendor business credit in lieu of bank loans.
When bank loans were pursued for larger purchases, they received the best possible terms due to the improvements made in their business credit and the business information corrected as a result of being identified from the scan.
